Plön

The small town of Plön lies in the heart of the Holstein Switzerland lake district, not far from the Baltic coast. With the only hilltop castle in Schleswig-Holstein, the town of Plön has a landmark visible from far away. The castle has been owned by the Fielmann Foundation since 2001 and is open for guided tours.
