Hotels in Mecklenburg
The Mecklenburg Baltic coast is the birthplace of Germany’s seaside resort tradition. Bathing began here as early as 1793 in Heiligendamm, a district of Bad Doberan.
Even today, the Baltic seaside resorts from Boltenhagen via Kühlungsborn and Rostock-Warnemünde to Graal-Müritz are among the most popular holiday destinations in all of Germany.
Visitors will find buildings in the characteristic style of Baltic spa architecture, as well as modern complexes that blend elegantly into the landscape.
The extensive hinterland, with its many attractions, stretches from the state capital Schwerin to the Mecklenburg Lake District.
