Beach, Water and Nature

Hasmark Strand lies on the Kattegat and is a long, child-friendly sandy beach. The bathing water is classified as excellent with three stars; the beach is also recognised as a winter bathing spot. Hasmark is a holiday area with campsites and holiday homes. The beach oasis includes a playground, a fire pit and a shelter site. As a winter bathing spot, Hasmark Strand is not exclusively associated with the warm season.

Landscape and Paths

Hasmark is also a natural area with a long beach, the extensive Hasmarkmose marshland and idyllic fields. The coast at Hasmark is protected by dykes because the area was previously affected by flooding and storm surges. A cycle path runs along Strandvejen between Otterup and Hasmark Strand and is 8 kilometres long. For a cycle trip between Otterup and Hasmark Strand, the stated length of 8 kilometres can be planned as a separate part of the day's itinerary. On Enebærodde, a hiking and cycling route leads from Hasmark Strand via Østre Strandvej and Erikshåbvej.

Beach Oasis for Active Days

Hasmark Beach Oasis offers a nature playground with a large climbing structure, a fire pit, a petanque court, green areas and an open-air stage. There are also toilets, changing rooms and showers. The beach oasis also has a free equipment bank where visitors can borrow utensils for cooking over a campfire. There is a car park with 45 spaces directly next to the beach oasis. This means that arrival at Hasmark Beach Oasis can be planned with parking directly on site.

Water Park and Mini Golf

Hasmark Badeland & Wellness has a total of 1,650 m² of indoor and outdoor pools and is the largest water park in Denmark attached to a campsite. The indoor area has three pools and three water slides of different sizes. The wellness area includes a spa pool, a steam room and a sauna. Another leisure venue is Hasmark Grill & Minigolf: the mini-golf course is 20 metres long, has artificial turf and includes a replica of the Great Belt Bridge.

History and Orientation on Site

Hasmark was formerly a manor that was incorporated, together with Knyle Farm, into the large Hofmansgave estate. The cultural environment of Hofmandsgave includes parts of the holiday-home area near Hasmark as well as the Enebærodde peninsula. The Hotel Kattegat seaside hotel opened in Hasmark in 1916. For practical orientation, the tourist information office at First Camp Hasmark Strand provides printed maps and brochures, digital information and a digital map.

Year-Round Stay

First Camp Hasmark Strand is open year-round, making winter and autumn camping possible as well. For autumn and winter camping, this year-round opening provides the time frame for the stay. Two beach wheelchairs are available at Hasmark Beach Oasis and can be borrowed from the reception at First Camp Hasmark Strand. Thus, in addition to the summer beach, cooler seasons and specific services are also part of planning locally.
