Skamby between the church, runestone and festivals

Church with Romanesque and Gothic Forms

In the surrounding area of Skamby, you will also find Thorslundgård, with an exhibition of living spaces from various historical periods and of porcelain. The exhibition of living spaces and porcelain shifts the focus from the landscape to historical interiors. The farm shop at Thorslundgård sells its own honey, fresh eggs and seasonal produce.

Summer Festivals and Viking Market

The annual town festival Troldefesten has borne its name since 1967, after the legend of a troll who stood against the church. Troldefest takes place every summer in Skamby. It includes a bobsled tournament, football matches, a cycling race, market stalls and a celebration in a tent. The event program is therefore not limited to a single attraction but includes various public activities.

Nordfyns Vikingemarked takes place at Glavendruplunden on the first weekend of September. The market offers crafts, Viking food and mead.
