Lyngby Church dates from the 12th century and is the oldest building in Kongens Lyngby. Lyngby Church contains frescoes from around 1500, created by the Brarup workshop.
Bondebyen is one of the best-preserved villages north of Copenhagen and consists of farmhouses and smaller houses. Bondebyen reflects the character of a workers’ residential area dating from the 1890s, established in former agricultural buildings. Lindegaarden is a four-winged farm dating from 1650 and is now a cultural venue in Bondebyen in the center of Kongens Lyngby. Handelsruten tells the history of the center of Kongens Lyngby and draws attention to selected houses and shops along Lyngby Hovedgade from the past and present. Nordre Mølle is a watermill established around 1762 as an extension of Søndre Mølle.

Frilandsmuseet presents houses, farms, and mills from 350 years of history. At Frilandsmuseet, visitors can meet and pet some animals depending on the season; Frøsnapperbyen at Frilandsmuseet includes a maze. The Car Museum at Classic Car House offers interactive installations for children and adults. Frieboeshvile Stadsarkiv regularly hosts exhibitions, lectures, urban walks, as well as activities and workshops for children. Nordre Mølle is used as a venue for art exhibitions and Christmas markets.
