The Narva-Jõesuu Yacht Club is located on the Gulf of Finland at the mouth of the Narva River and has direct access to the sea. The sailing school of the Narva-Jõesuu Yacht Club offers sailing training year-round for young people aged 7 to 21. This is a distinct focus of the town: in addition to the beach, regular sailing training is also one of its documented maritime activities.

The “Päike” sculpture is part of the cultural highlights. It was erected in 2009 in the garden of Kolbe Villa, on the side facing Aia Street. The name refers to a sun motif that was also used in the former coat of arms of Narva-Jõesuu. Those who wish to pay attention to individual symbols and their meaning while walking through the town will find a specific connection here between the sculpture and the town’s history.

The memorial to the fishermen who lost their lives conveys the maritime heritage of Narva-Jõesuu. An exhibition at the museum in Narva-Jõesuu presents the history and culture of the spa town through photographs. Together with the Yacht Club, the connection to the river and the e-bike tour, this creates a cultural perspective that considers fishing, the coastal setting and the development of the spa town from different viewpoints.
