A 63-kilometre section of National Cycle Route 7 runs through Lolland-Falster. For cycle tourists, the ferry connection, route through the town and longer island section come together here.

Further along, the route follows a former railway line. Today, it is a gravel track closed to cars. This change from the route through the town to the restricted track is relevant when planning a longer cycling tour.

Exhibitions and historic buildings

The Femern Exhibition in Rødbyhavn uses pictures, models and films in Danish, German and English to provide information about the construction of the 18-kilometre tunnel. In Rødby, the old warehouse “Det gamle Pakhus” was built in 1850 by merchant Frederik Wilhelm Pøhler. Willers Gård remains a monument to Rødby’s trading history. The warehouse refers to a specific building and its builder, while Willers Gård continues to embody the town’s trading history as a monument.
