The complex of the Church of Saints Peter and Paul was recognized as state-protected cultural heritage in 2005. The Textile Craft Museum is located on Vaineikių Street in Darbėnai. In rooms on the first and second floors of their home, textile artisans Daiva and Arūnas Dudėnas maintain an exhibition of hundreds of woven sashes and towels. Visitors wishing to see the exhibition should coordinate access with the center in advance. The collection makes weaving a subject in its own right, alongside the historical panels and church buildings.
The story of Stanislovas Burba is also connected with Darbėnai: Burba, who was born in the town, donated his personally assembled collection to a school. It includes photographs, letters, books, recorded memories, and objects related to deportees and partisans. A monument in Darbėnai commemorates the partisans of the “Kardas” unit of the Samogitian District who died between 1945 and 1965. The collection and the monument focus on different aspects of remembrance; the date range on the monument identifies the years in which the partisans died.

Darbėnai is known for the “Petrinės and Povilinės,” a church festival dedicated to the Apostles Peter and Paul. It takes place at the end of June and brings the community together.
