This parish belongs to the Rostock provostship in the Mecklenburg church district of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Northern Germany, the North Church. Thus, this destination combines the visible architectural form of the fieldstone church and a documentary reference dating back to 1318 with the parish's ecclesiastical affiliation.
