Dobbin-Linstow: Hotels and Accommodations

Dobbin-Linstow is the southernmost municipality in the Rostock district of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania. It is located in a heavily forested and very sparsely populated part of the Mecklenburg Lake District.

Geographical Setting

In the western part of the municipality, Lake Linstow is connected to Lake Krakow via the upper reaches of the Nebel River. The southern half of Dobbin-Linstow belongs to the Nossentiner/Schwinzer Heide Nature Park.

Nature

The Krakower Obersee nature reserve encompasses forest, moorland, and meadow habitats that serve as breeding and resting grounds for many waterbirds.

The nearby surroundings of Dobbin-Linstow include Steinwerder and Lockwerder. Küche and Borgwall are located in the surrounding area.

Culture

The wider regional area around Dobbin-Linstow includes Burg Schlitz, Güstrow Castle, the Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania Wildlife Park, and Dornbusch.
