Culture

The church in Groß Wokern is designated as a listed ensemble comprising the churchyard and bell tower. The bell tower stands separately and was built in 1992; the church also features a Romanesque granite portal.

Cycling Routes

One cycling loop has gentle climbs and no major difficulties, and runs mainly along paved forest and field paths. Shorter sections lead over cobblestones, concrete tracks and a paved side road.

One route includes a 2.5-kilometre section through dense forest and a peaceful setting. A loop from Teterow that includes Burg Schlitz passes through Groß Wokern. A separate cycling loop also runs through Groß Wokern. Another route passes through Groß Wokern and Nienhagen before continuing into the Nienhäger Forst.
