Stolpe on Usedom: Hotels and Accommodation
Stolpe Castle in Stolpe on Usedom was built in 1570 and has been undergoing restoration and partial reconstruction since 2001. During the summer months, cultural events such as readings and concerts take place there.
Culture and History
Stolpe Castle presents changing special exhibitions. The volunteer castle guides offer guided tours of Stolpe Castle for groups of 20 or more. Stolpe Castle is intended to be made accessible to visitors.
Stolpe Church was rebuilt in the Neo-Gothic style on a medieval fieldstone foundation after lightning damage in 1867 and was consecrated in 1871. Its organ dates from 1863.
Architecture and Local Life
Restoration of the former stables began in August 2012. The former stables house six apartments and are also home to the REMISE restaurant.
The REMISE restaurant in Stolpe is associated with Pomeranian tapas and a flambéed Remise skewer.
