Mölln: Hotels and Accommodations

Mölln was first documented in 1316 as a former estate village. Its village character is partly shaped by the row of estate cottages and the village church.

Townscape and History

Mölln is also considered to be of Slavic origin. At the northern edge of Mölln, the remains of a silted-up island castle dating from the 7th to the 13th century are still visible.

Culture

In Klein Helle, the village and former estate form a harmonious ensemble that includes an expansive English landscape park. Klein Helle Village Church is a simple half-timbered building with red brick dating from 1781. Its wooden bell tower has a pointed slate roof. The church also serves as a venue for celebrations and concerts.

DAVINCI 3 is a gallery, meeting place, and new village center. Covering 500 square meters, it provides space for meetings, workshops, pizza gatherings, and small team retreats. Wunderbares Wrodow attracts visitors with events and exhibitions.

Nature

In spring, the Wrodow wet depression is a breeding ground for the endangered whiskered tern, a migratory bird from the West African coast.

At Mölln (Mecklenburg) railway station, there are parking spaces for bicycles and cars. An orientation map for the station, platform, and surrounding area is also available there.
