Geographical Location
Zislow is located in southern Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, south of Malchow, in the Mecklenburg Lake District. Since 2011, Zislow has been a state-recognized resort.
History and Culture
The area was settled by Slavic communities from the 7th to the 9th century. The Slavic rampart of Zislow is located on the western shore of Lake Großer Pätschsee.
Meyenburg Castle is located in the vicinity of Zislow. The wider regional area also includes Ringwall, Burgwall, and Schwenzin Castle.
