Beckerwitz offers visitors direct access to the Baltic Sea coast and Wohlenberger Wiek. There are opportunities for beach visits and water-based activities here.
Coast, hiking and cycling
A recommended coastal hike around Wohlenberger Wiek is approximately 15 kilometres long and takes around five to six hours with breaks. The route connects beach, gravel, tidal-flat and partially paved sections of shoreline. In summer, there are opportunities for swimming and places to stop for refreshments along the route.
The Baltic Sea Cycle Route runs directly through Beckerwitz and provides a cycling connection through the village.
Surrounding area
The surrounding area of Beckerwitz includes Wangernp Beach, Poel and Walfisch. The village church in Bössow, a district of Warnow, is also located nearby. Fliemstorf Huk is close to Beckerwitz.
Excursion destinations
The Wismar Zoo is located in the surrounding area. The Erlebnis- und Tigerpark Dassow is situated in the wider regional area; the Bürgerpark is also located in the surrounding area of Beckerwitz.
