Pudagla: Hotels and Accommodation

Pudagla is located between the Achterwasser lagoon and Lake Schmollensee in Usedom Nature Park.

Nature

There is a bathing beach in Pudagla on the Achterwasser lagoon. Numerous hiking trails lead through the village and its surrounding landscape. A walk up the 38-metre-high Glaubensberg offers a wide view over Lake Schmollensee.

The Pudagla post mill stands on the western shore of Lake Schmollensee. The Devil’s Stone is protected as a natural monument.

Culture

Pudagla Castle has a vaulted cellar. The Pudagla post mill is the only mill of its type in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania that has been preserved at its original location. After its restoration in 1997, it was made operational again; since 2001, it has been open to the public.

Trails

Tour 15 is marked with a yellow triangle. The Devil’s Stone Trail passes Konker Berg and Schäfermoor. The Devil’s Stone Route crosses the area of Pudagla between the Achterwasser lagoon and the main road.

Transport Connections

Pudagla has public bus services. The village can also be reached by train as far as Schmollensee via the “Around Lake Schmollensee” trail.
