In 2018, the national park added a 300-metre-long open-water swimming course at Fuglsø Beach. Hiking through Heathland, Open Country and Woodland

The Fuglsø hiking route is 2.4 km long and leads through heathland and open country to Fuglsø Skov woodland. The 2.4 km distance can be planned as a walk in its own right as part of the day, without assuming a specific walking time or pace. Along the Fuglsø hiking route, there is a marked side path to the water through private woodland. The side path provides an additional connection to the water without making the route and the beach the same location.

Event at Fuglsøcentret

The event “An Irish Evening” has been held at the Fuglsøcentret for 14 years. In addition to the beach and hiking topics, a specific event venue is therefore also part of Fuglsø’s character.
