If you would like to combine beach, nature and maritime culture on your trip to the Baltic Sea, Kabli offers several clearly distinct points of interest. Kabli rand is a sandy beach on the shore of the Gulf of Riga and also a stop on the Ranniku matkarada. For a trip with active sections, section 31 of the Baltic Coastal Hiking Route also ends in the centre of Kabli. This brings together a sandy coastal stretch, a coastal hiking trail and the end of a longer route section in Kabli.

The landscape can be explored along the Kabli looduse õpperada. The trail takes 1–2 hours; wooden signposts and information boards accompany the route. This means that the focus is not only on time at the beach, but also on a nature-oriented route with clear on-site guidance. The Kabli külastuskeskus is easily accessible by wheelchair. It offers nature education programmes for children and adults. The short walking time and signposting give this nature trail a different format from the longer hiking routes through the surrounding area.

Birdwatching is a particular focus. The Kabli linnujaama vaatetorn is located in the heart of the Kabli looduskaitseala. In autumn, the Kabli linnujaam has a 17 m-high Heligoland trap. Birds have been ringed there and migration studied for more than 50 years. The Kabli linnujaam is regularly in operation every year from mid-August to the beginning of November. The seasonal opening gives birdwatching in Kabli a clearly defined period and connects the observation tower with the long-standing work on bird migration.

Longer routes also pass through the village. The 74 km-long RMK Oandu-Aegviidu-Ikla hiking trail passes the Kabli külastuskeskus and continues to the Kabli linnujaam. Its route therefore connects the visitor centre with the bird station, while the Kabli looduse õpperada offers a significantly shorter 1–2-hour orientation route. The 74 km RMK trail thus contrasts with a short route through nature.

Kabli also has a distinct cultural side. The Kabli Seltsimaja hosts concerts, theatre performances, workshops and various cultural programmes. Every year, it also holds a celebration of Estonia’s Independence Day for local residents and guests. The programme includes traditional potato and barley porridge. Kabli muinastulede öö takes place on Kabli beach; the tradition continues and attracts visitors from nearby and farther afield.

A maritime memorial in Kabli is the Jaala Kaja. It commemorates the 150th anniversary of the launching of the first ocean-going sailing ship built and launched here. For a taste of local cuisine, there is Kabli Pagar-pood: the café offers locally made savoury pastries and sweet yeast pastries.
