Haale: Hotels and accommodations

Haale retains a small archaeological connection: two castles once stood in the area, of which only part of a castle moat remains. There are also scenic sites, a canoe launch site on the western edge of the local area, and the NOK Route, along which cyclists and walkers pass through Haale.

History

In the wider regional surroundings of Haale are the cultural and historical monuments Schalenstein, Schanze and Hügelgrab. The St. George Church in Jevenstedt is also located nearby.

Langer Berg is located in the area surrounding Haale. The wider regional surroundings also include Leinberg, Boxberg and Mövenberg.

Water and trails

Canoe trips are possible from Haale; a launch site is located on the western edge of the local area. Cyclists and walkers pass through Haale on the NOK Route.

Nature

The Haaler Au provides a habitat for, among others, lapwings, tundra swans, curlews and whinchats. Visitors are asked to stay on the paths, listen quietly to the birds and use binoculars considerately.
