Perstorp features hilly terrain with beech, coniferous and mixed forests, as well as ponds with diverse shore and aquatic vegetation. The 570-kilometre Cykelleden Skåne cycle route network passes through the town; along the routes there are nature, cultural, accommodation and dining options.

Culture and History

Perstorps kyrka dates from the 12th century and has a free-standing bell tower from the 16th century. Perstorps hembygdsgård dates back to the 17th century and houses an extensive collection of old everyday objects. Plastens Hus presents the history of plastics through influential products. The chronologically arranged exhibition focuses on plastics and the environment and includes a children's corner.

Henrikstorps glasbruk, also known as Skånska glasbruket, was founded in 1692 by Göran Pielman. It burned down in 1762 and was never rebuilt. In Hagstad, the birthplace of Artur Lundkvist is now used as a writers' and artists' retreat. The birthplace houses a permanent exhibition about Artur Lundkvist from 1986 and an exhibition about Maria Wine from 2003.

Cycling

The Perstorp–Klippan section of Cykelleden Skåne is 22.9 kilometres long. The section passes through historic landscapes and goes past crofts and milestones. These two details make visible both the specific length of the designated Cykelleden section and the historical landscape features along the connection.

Nature and Activities

Ugglebadet is open year-round and offers, among other things, exercise, health promotion, relaxation, swimming lessons and recreation. It has a diving pool with a diving tower at 1, 3 and 5 metres. Uggleskogen is home to trees that grew in the 18th century, as well as several woodpecker species.

The Perstorpssjöarna runt circular walk passes through parks close to residential areas, quiet forest clearings and open lake landscapes. It returns to the town of Perstorp and offers opportunities to observe park, woodland and water birds. Perstorps Golfbana is an 18-hole course and is considered a combination of woodland and parkland; lakes, forests and ponds line the individual fairways. The golf course has a restaurant.

The area is fully adapted for accessibility and includes, among other things, exercise trails in a nature reserve close to residential areas.

Accommodation Framework

When staying in Perstorp, travel dates, room category and cancellation conditions can provide a practical framework for choosing a hotel. Cultural history, cycling, nature, swimming and golf are presented as separate themes. Depending on your own plans, these focuses can be weighted differently; historic sites, landscapes, sports activities and the swimming facility remain separate points of reference for planning your stay.

The Perstorp Tourist Information Centre is located in the same building as Plastens Hus and provides personal assistance when looking for activities and attractions in Perstorp and the surrounding area. Perstorp railway station has a ticket machine, platforms, parking spaces and bicycle parking.
