Lake Brożówka is located in the Masurian Lake District and within the mesoregion of the Great Masurian Lakes. Its shores are predominantly low and flat; there is a wetland on the southern side, while the western shores are wooded and steep. A quiet zone applies to the lake, which is also located within the Great Masurian Lakes Landscape Protection Area.

History

The documented history of the manor estate in Brożówka dates back to the 16th century; it was later owned by the Załuski and Werner families.

A manor house built in the mid-19th century stands on Lake Brożówka. It is associated with a purported wartime residence of Heinrich Himmler.
