Guty: Hotels and accommodations

Guty is located on the western shore of Lake Kisajno. Gucki Ostrów, a small peninsula, lies southeast of the village.

Location and water

On Lake Kisajno, the GUTY Elixir campground has a beach, a swimming area, and jetties. The campground also has an accessible sanitary facility and a parking space for wheelchair users.

Cycle routes

The “Wokół jezior Kisajno i Dargin” cycle route is 54.5 km long. Of this, 3.2 km are cycle paths, 26.8 km are paved roads, and 24.5 km are unpaved roads. The route runs through the forest along the western shore of Lake Kisajno to Guty and, after a turnoff toward Fuleda, continues to Kamionki.

The 67 km-long blue cycle route passes through Guty. Guty lies on this route between Kamionki and Piękna Góra; the route starts and ends in Giżycko. The 26 km-long Dejguny cycle route also passes through Guty.

Archaeology and history

The Guty archaeological burial mound is located in Guty. The Guty archaeological settlement site, site 3, is also located here.

For the year 1450, Guty is recorded under the historical names Gussenpilcke and Gutten. The village was severely damaged during the hostilities; its area also decreased significantly.
