At the site of present-day Ładzin, three small settlements existed between the 9th and 11th centuries. The village was first mentioned in writing in 1293 as Laddin.
Culture and history
Ładzin is home to the Church of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, a listed neo-Gothic church dating from 1895. The village also has the former Behl inn from the pre-war period, which is now used as a community centre.
In the immediate vicinity of Ładzin are Mokrzyckie Góry and Wolin. The surrounding area includes Plaża Międzyzdroje, Plaża Międzywodzie and Woliński Park Narodowy.
Ładzin has a railway stop on railway line 401 between Szczecin Dąbie and Świnoujście Port, as well as a PKS bus stop.
