Bagicz lies between Sianożęty and Kołobrzeg in the municipality of Ustronie Morskie, in Kołobrzeg County and the West Pomeranian Voivodeship. Sianożęty Plaża and Plaża w Ustroniu Morskim are located nearby. In the surrounding area of Bagicz lies Płaza Kolobrzeg, while Plaża Sarbinowo is located farther away in the region.

Nature

The Kołobrzeg Forest associated with Bagicz is considered a woodland area extending over almost 300 hectares around the village. According to reports, the wetlands around Bagicz provide a habitat for around 80 bird species, including cranes, red-necked grebes and mute swans.

Culture and History

A brick forester’s lodge from the early 20th century and a Protestant cemetery dating from the transition between the 19th and 20th centuries are among the local sights. Bagicz is also associated with an airfield whose history dates back to 1935 and which was built for Luftwaffe bomber aircraft.

A blue hiking trail from the Ustronie Morskie area leads through Sianożęty and Bagicz toward the Kołobrzeg Forest.
