Skoczów: Hotels and accommodations

The palace in Skoczów dates from the early 19th century and is located in a park. Due to its high architectural and historical value, it was deemed eligible for entry in the register of monuments.

History

According to a document from 1276, Skoczów arose through the merging of two or three Slavic villages or hamlets named Zambowe, Zeliciz and Speprav, which were later collectively referred to as Schotsow. In the 15th century, Skoczów was owned by the Benedictine nuns of Kołobrzeg. After the Reformation and the secularization of the monastery estates, Skoczów became a noble estate.

The London plane tree in Skoczów is protected as a natural monument and has a trunk circumference of 388 cm. The black pine is also protected as a natural monument; its trunk circumference is 320 cm.
