Abildøre: Coast, Nature and Long Barrows by Sidinge Fjord

Abildøre combines a fjord setting with paths, beaches and traces of culture. The holiday home area of Abildøre is located by Sidinge Fjord. In the nearby area, Kongsøre Skov has a marked hiking route of approximately 5 km. It partly follows the coast and offers views across the Isefjord towards Hornsherred. Hiking, cycling and nature observation

In the vicinity of Abildøre, the Isefjordstien runs for approximately 30 km from Kongsøre Skov to Rørvig. In addition, the Fjordstien is designated as cycling route 40. The marked route in Kongsøre Skov is therefore the shorter of the two routes; the Isefjordstien is the longer connection to Rørvig. For cycling tourists, route 40 provides an additional designated connection. The connection to Rørvig has a clear endpoint, while the marked route remains within Kongsøre Skov.
