Holiday Apartments in Vorpommern
The Vorpommern coastal region stretches from the approaches to the Fischland-Darß-Zingst peninsula in the north, along the routes to Germany’s two largest islands, Rügen and Usedom, to the outskirts of the Pomeranian metropolis of Szczecin in the south.
It includes the former Hanseatic towns of Stralsund, Greifswald and Anklam, the old ducal town of Wolgast, and the lagoon-side metropolis of Ueckermünde.
Particularly scenic are the shores of the Strelasund between the mainland and Rügen, the Greifswald Lagoon and the Szczecin Lagoon. The Ueckermünde Heath, one of Germany’s largest forest areas, provides a peaceful contrast.
Holiday apartments are the most popular type of accommodation in this region, whether individual apartments, holiday homes or one of the several holiday-home developments.
