The small town of Kappeln on the Schlei, a fjord-like waterway that runs through the town and gives it its charm, is one of the most popular holiday destinations and places to visit in Schleswig.
Our family-run hotel is centrally and peacefully located in the town centre, just a few metres from the banks of the Schlei. As many of our guests have already told us, our hotel has “a touch of the Adriatic”.

The Hotel
The hotel’s single and double rooms are furnished in a Nordic style. They come with a shower/WC and cable TV, and a generous breakfast buffet is included in the price. Thanks to the free parking spaces at the hotel, it is easy to reach. Day visitors are also welcome, especially the many cyclists who find their way to us via the Baltic Sea Cycle Route. They can enjoy excellent hospitality at our family-run hotel and café.
The Café
The café has 45 seats, plus 30 outdoor seats on the sunny courtyard terrace when the weather is fine. It welcomes not only hotel guests for a varied breakfast buffet, but is also becoming increasingly popular with day visitors. We have extensive experience hosting your special celebration. Make the most of our creativity.
Holiday Apartments
The property also includes two holiday apartments of different sizes, accommodating 1–2 or up to 5 people. You can use a barbecue in the garden, and there is a private parking space and bicycle storage. Both apartments can be booked together as one holiday home.
