Golchen: Hotels and accommodations

Golchen is located in the Tollense glacial valley. An extensive woodland area to the west belongs to the municipality. As a municipality in the northeast of the Mecklenburg Lake District, Golchen lies southeast of Demmin.

History

Golchen is one of the oldest places in the region and was first mentioned in 1170 in a founding charter of Broda Premonstratensian Monastery.

State Road 35 runs through Golchen, while the A20 passes east of the municipal area. The Burow interchange is approximately three kilometers away.
