Memorial Sites in Grabow and Below

In Grabow, in the Mecklenburg Lake District, one of the four-color enamel plaques installed in 1976 marks the route of the death march of prisoners from Sachsenhausen concentration camp. In the same district, a glacial erratic in Below from the series dating from 1949, 1950, and 1951 commemorates the death march of prisoners from Sachsenhausen concentration camp. The two memorial signs differ in form but refer to the same historical context.
