The landscape in the municipality offers views of hills, hedgerows and kettle holes, as well as cranes and geese. In May, rapeseed fields bloom, adding a distinct seasonal accent. The brick church in Möllenhagen is one of the village’s attractions. In Groß Varchow, also within the municipality, the village church is a brick building on a fieldstone foundation dating from the 13th century. The church houses seven figures from the medieval altar. The fieldstone church in Kraase is also among the municipality’s attractions. Kraase itself is more than 700 years old. The reserve includes a forest nature trail with climbing opportunities, an anthill house, an exhibition with touch-and-see panels, and a dendrophone. For those exploring by water, Neustrelitz town harbor offers a different perspective: from there, they can explore Müritz National Park and the Strelitz Small Lakes region via the Upper Havel Waterway.
