The Warnow flows through the municipality of Bülow, and the western part of the municipality includes the Barniner Tannen forest. Bülow is a municipality in the eastern part of the Ludwigslust-Parchim district in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania. The place is considered a manor village, in contrast to the old farming village of Runow.

Bülow is located north of federal highway 321; the A14 motorway is approximately 19 kilometres away via the Schwerin-Ost junction. Bülow is also about eight kilometres northeast of Crivitz.
