The station is unstaffed and has no mobility services on site. Rostock Central Station is 14 km away and is the nearest railway station with mobile service staff.

In the Surrounding Area

Rostock Zoo is located in the area surrounding Prisannewitz. Further afield in the region are the Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania Wildlife Park, Dornbusch, Güstrow Castle, Bützow Castle and the Thünen Museum. Kötelberg and Kahler Berg are located close to Prisannewitz.

Other Places

In the immediate vicinity, in Göldenitz within the municipality of Dummerstorf, is miniland MV. The model and landscape park features more than 70 true-to-scale models of regional buildings, natural play areas, outdoor play equipment, reconstructed landscapes and quiet zones.

Also nearby is the Göldenitz Rural School Museum. It preserves an original school building from 1880 with an authentic teacher’s residence and original classroom. It also features historical exhibitions and traditional crafts; a historical lesson experience can also be booked.
