Dummerstorf: Hotels and Accommodation

Dummerstorf is located about ten kilometres southeast of Rostock in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, on a ground moraine between the Warnow tributaries Kösterbeck and Zarnow. Kötelberg is located nearby. Extensive stretches along the waterways of Kösterbeck and Zarnow are designated as nature reserves, including Göldenitzer Moor and the Kösterbeck Nature Reserve.

Culture and History

Dummerstorf Manor House is considered one of the oldest manor houses in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania and is a listed monument. It is considered to have been built in the Baroque style between 1714 and 1717; cultural events take place in the manor house.

Bandelstorf Manor Estate is listed as the property of the municipality of Dummerstorf; the Bandelstorf Manor Estate association is listed as its user. The property includes a mansion, farm buildings and former workshops.
