Daberkow is part of the Mecklenburg Switzerland and Lake District travel region. The Tollense River flows through the southwestern part of the municipality; near Wietzow, the terrain slopes down to the Tollense glacial valley.

Culture and History

The history of the village includes numerous Bronze Age burial mounds in the southern part of Daberkow near Wietzow. They date from the period between 1700 and 600 BC; the archaeological finds include the lurs of Daberkow. Bentzin Village Church and Buchar Village Church are also located in the surrounding area. The Trabbi Barn and Quilow Water Castle are located in the wider regional area.

Daberkow is located 10 kilometres south of Jarmen and 19.5 kilometres southeast of Demmin.
