Nature and Trails

The Owl Trail in Tarp is freely accessible, designed as a permanent circular trail and accessible at every point. It follows the Treene to the Behm Hut; carved owl sculptures are displayed along the route.

The Church and Viewpoint Tour crosses the Treene via the Fishermen’s Bridge. From the tour, you can look out over the wet meadows of the Treene Valley, including a stork’s nest; White Park cattle graze on the wet meadows along the tour.

Leisure and Local History

Tarp Leisure Pool has a 50-metre pool with 1-, 3- and 5-metre diving towers as well as two water slides. The pool complex also includes a toddlers’ area with water play features and a playground. Free parking is available at Tarp Leisure Pool.

The freely accessible Tarp Erratic Boulder Garden presents around 70 glacial erratic boulders. Information explains their material, origin and glacial transport. The reconstructed archaeological features include a stone circle, a burial mound with a tree coffin and a chambered tomb.
