Culture and History in Vesterlund

Near Vesterlund in Jutland is a Bronze Age burial mound that was investigated in 1908. Vesterlund Efterskole was founded in 1921 by citizens of Vesterlund and has existed as an efterskole since its foundation. In 1979, the school acquired the former municipal school; its buildings are now integrated into the efterskole. Vesterlund Kro has been documented as an inn since the 1870s and was later converted into a café and campsite.
