In Nidzica, the castle of the Teutonic Order houses the Nidzica Cultural Centre and the Museum of Nidzica.

Culture

The urban structure of Nidzica’s Old Town is listed as a cultural heritage site dating from the late 14th century and is located 50–100 metres from the former town fortifications and the castle walls.

The Roman Catholic parish church complex of St Wojciech and the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Nidzica features architectural elements from the 14th, 17th and 20th centuries. A listed Evangelical-Augsburg church, built between 1858 and 1890, is located on Zamkowa Street. Nidzica also has a listed Jewish cemetery dating from the beginning of the 20th century.

Nature

The Jezioro Orłowo Małe nature reserve is located within the Nidzica municipality, approximately 10 kilometres north of Nidzica. The Źródła Rzeki Łyny nature reserve is located in the Nidzica municipality and in the Nidzica Forest District, near Orłowo and Łyna at the source of the Łyna River.
