Geographical Location

Orzyny is located in the Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship, in Szczytno County and the Dźwierzuty Gmina. The town lies on Polish regional road 600 and is approximately 15 kilometres from Szczytno.

History

Orzyny developed from a large aristocratic estate that was connected with the Rańska estate. During the development of the estate in the 19th century, a palace was built on the shore of Lake Orzyny.

“Szczytno - Zamek Krzyżacki XIVw.” is located in the area surrounding Orzyny. Dąbrowa is also situated in the surrounding area; Kadzidłowo lies in the wider regional area.
