Łasko is located in the Puszcza Drawska forest near Lake Okrągłe and combines a landscape shaped by lakes with a multifaceted local history.

Landscape

Łasko is a rural locality in the Bierzwnik Gmina, in Choszczno County, in the Polish West Pomeranian Voivodeship, near the border with Lubusz Voivodeship. Lake Przytoczno lies approximately 400 metres to the east. The Łasko nature reserve is located on the peninsula of Lake Okrągłe.

The surrounding area includes Lake Radęcińskie to the south, the small Lake Krzywe to the east, Lake Ostrowiec farther to the northeast, and Lake Piaseczno approximately 2.5 kilometres to the northeast.

History

The settlement developed around a glassworks, the establishment of which followed a decision made in 1650. An inn is recorded for 1706; by 1725, a small settlement had formed around the glassworks.

Historical records mention a school in Łasko in 1830 and a volunteer fire brigade founded in 1931.
