Niechorze: Hotels and Accommodation

Niechorze is situated on the Trzebiatów Coast between the Baltic Sea to the north and Lake Liwia-Łuża to the south.

Geographical Setting

The Liwka Canal connects Lake Liwia-Łuża with the waters of the Baltic Sea. The canal, which is approximately 1 kilometre long, also forms a natural boundary between Niechorze and Pogorzelica.

Nature and Coast

Niechorze has a very wide beach and a steep sea cliff coast, considered to be 22 metres high. Plaża Niechorze and Plaża w Pogorzelicy are also located nearby.

The surrounding area of Niechorze includes “Trzebiatow - Zespol palacowo-zamkowy z XVIII w.” and Pobierowo Plaża. Further afield in the region is Plaża Dżwirzyno.

Culture

The Niechorze Lighthouse was built in 1866 and is 45 metres high. From the top, visitors can see the sea, the meadows and Lake Liwia-Łuża.

The Maritime Fisheries Museum in Niechorze was founded on the initiative of local residents around the former fisherman Henryk Gmyrek.

Routes and Mobility

The historic route of the coastal narrow-gauge railway, which is more than 100 years old, runs through Niechorze.

Niechorze participates in the Rewal Bike System, a network offering bicycles and Nordic walking equipment at points in Pobierowo, Niechorze and Rewal.

Hiking and cycling trails run through Niechorze. These include cycling routes towards nearby Pogorzelica and other parts of the Rewal Coast.
