Żukowo: Hotels and accommodation
Żukowo is located on the edge of the Ina Valley, about 1 km from the river and parallel to its course. Meadows and agriculturally used fields surround the village.

The “Niebieski korytarz ekologiczny koryta rzeki Iny i jej dopływów – V” is considered a habitat and site for rare or protected species.
History and villagescape
Żukowo still preserves a clearly recognizable medieval oval village church layout, with dense development around an inner square. About half of the historic farmsteads in Żukowo have been preserved.
Żukowo was first mentioned in writing in 1237. At the time of this first written mention, the knightly family de Suckow, which was associated with the Order of St. John, had its seat there.
Church and historic buildings
The “Kościół filialny pw. św. Antoniego” church in Żukowo preserves Gothic pointed-arch portals and windows; the former churchyard is enclosed by a stone wall.
The church in Żukowo contains altar components from around 1500 and from 1715. On the western edge of the village, a preserved smithy building from the early 20th century stands beside a pond.
Nature and trails
Żukowo lies along the Krapiel–Żukowo–Brudzewice municipal road. The “Szlak Dziedzictwa Historyczno-Przyrodniczego” runs through Żukowo, among other places.
Equestrian sports
Żukowo has a stud farm with an indoor riding arena that also allows riding in winter. The Jeździecki Klub Sportowy “Remi” is registered at the address Żukowo 31. Together with ZODR, the Jeździecki Klub Sportowy REMI Żukowo co-organized equestrian competitions at Agro Pomerania 2024 in Barzkowice.
