Damp

Here on the Baltic Sea coast of the Schwansen Peninsula, halfway between Kappeln and Eckernförde, a holiday resort was built in 1973 under the name Damp 2000 at the time, close to the small town of Damp itself. Today, it presents itself as the Baltic seaside resort of Damp.
More than 20 years before comparable projects elsewhere in Germany, and long before the term “health tourism” became part of relevant concepts, a holiday park was established here by combining the site’s medical and tourism expertise at an early stage. Designed with the feel of a holiday village, it is located alongside a rehabilitation clinic and the Baltic Sea Clinic Damp.
The large-scale resort has been continually expanded and modernized, with new trends in Baltic Sea holidays recognized and incorporated at an early stage. The spacious marina has almost 400 berths.
With traffic restricted and no resort tax, the Baltic seaside resort of Damp offers, quite literally, almost everything a holidaymaker could wish for under one roof. The 3.5-kilometer-long, shallow-water beach is as family-friendly as the resort as a whole. Beach and watersports activities alternate with quieter stretches of beach.
