Hotel & Restaurant “Am Peenetal”
In the heart of the Peene Valley, between Anklam and Jarmen, the former Liepen estate has been transformed into a holiday complex set within a park, combining local traditions with the highest standards for guests.

The hotel
The rooms, furnished in a modern rustic country-house style, offer a total of 94 beds across three buildings and invite guests to relax in a family-friendly setting. All rooms have a shower/WC, flat-screen TV, and Wi-Fi; some also have a bathtub. Cots and children’s furniture are available for the youngest guests, and small pets are welcome too. Three holiday apartments (two two-room apartments and one three-room apartment) complement the hotel’s accommodation options.
The restaurant
The changing menu features fresh regional produce and seasonal treats. The young kitchen team takes delight in creating such delicacies as lamb pralines and pan-fried corn-fed chicken breast. The chefs are always happy to tell you which fields, pastures and hunting grounds their ingredients come from—and how they sometimes prepare and serve them in unexpected ways. Many of the seasonal herbs come
from the kitchen garden.
The ballroom
The ballroom evokes the splendor of a manor house. With a gallery and two floors, it can accommodate up to 150 guests for celebrations. For conferences, there is room for up
to 180 people. The venue also has its own banquet kitchen, as well as modern control and automation technology, a projector, internet access and satellite TV.
A 8 x 4-metre stage offers further flexibility.
Wellness

This 1,800-square-metre area features four pools (the largest measuring 8 x 12 metres, plus an outdoor saltwater pool), five different saunas, a fitness room, massage rooms, a Dream Water Lounge and a Turkish hammam. Its wide range of amenities makes it an inviting destination even in the colder months. A fun and relaxing novelty at the estate is its seven Dutch tubs (oversized bathtubs). The water in each Dutch tub is heated by burning wood. After about two hours, the unusual tub, which holds around 700 litres, reaches its maximum temperature of approximately 45°C and can be enjoyed by up to four people at a time.
The farm shop
in the former granary offers local products, some of which are made right at the estate. These include homemade jams, syrups and jellies, as well as elderberry wine. True to the motto “Regional, with a twist”, the selection changes with the seasons.
In a nutshell: All roads lead somewhere—not just to Rome.
