The 750-year-old town of Wolgast is the gateway to the island of Usedom. An imposing drawbridge crosses the Peenestrom to Germany’s second-largest and arguably most beautiful island. The town has the infrastructure needed for comfortable family living, including every type of school from primary school to grammar school, as well as a vocational school, music school and adult education centre. The nearby university town of Greifswald completes the educational offering.
