Årsballe is located in the centre of the Danish island of Bornholm, at an elevation of around 118 metres above sea level. The village is situated at a crossroads: here, the main road from Rønne to Østerlars meets a secondary road from Aakirkeby to Klemensker.

Ã…rsballe is a small settlement with approximately 50 houses. The village is locally recognisable by two television masts just outside the settlement.
