The Stege River flows through Admannshagen-Bargeshagen. The terrain slopes northward from Bargeshagen into the low-lying meadows between Admannshagen and Neu Rethwisch, reaching approximately one meter above sea level there. There are no forested areas within the municipality.

The officially approved coat of arms of Admannshagen-Bargeshagen depicts a Low German barn gable with black half-timbering, a gate, outward-facing horse-head gable boards, and a green linden branch.
