The village church in Conow is located near Grebs-Niendorf. The Dömitz Fortress is located in the surrounding area; further afield in the region are the Wendish rampart and the Opferberg.
At the northern municipal boundary near Menkendorf, a Slavic rampart indicates settlement dating from between 900 and 1200.
