Mühl Rosin: Hotels and Accommodation

Mühl Rosin is located directly on Lake Insel and is characterized by a landscape where water, forests, and protected shores lie close together. The Teuchelbach flows through the municipality; the Nebel runs approximately 500 meters to the east and has steep banks protected as a nature reserve.

The bathing areas at Lake Insel and a large forest area in the direction of Krakow are considered to be just a few minutes’ walk from the center of Mühl Rosin. The surrounding area also includes Blocksberg and Fuchsberg, while Liepse is located in the wider area.

Cycle Path and Excursion Destinations

Güstrow can be reached from Mühl Rosin via a 5-kilometer-long cycle path along Lake Insel. In the wider region, this excursion option includes horse paddocks, restaurants, the Ernst Barlach Museum, a large beach, boat rental, and the OASE leisure pool. The Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania Wildlife Park is also located near Mühl Rosin.

Culture and History

Güstrow Castle is located nearby. In the wider region are Dornbusch, the Groß Raden Open-Air Museum, and the Thünen Museum. Mühl Rosin includes Hereditary Lease Farm No. 3 at Honigberg; Kirch Rosin has a manor house designated Hereditary Lease Farm No. 1. The first documentation of Mühl Rosin dates back to 1226.
