Hiking and Landscape
There are several signposted hiking trails in Dersau. The Dersauer Uklei circular trail is suitable for families with children who can walk independently. Along the way, it offers views of the Großer Plöner See, hedgerows, meadows, and fields. The circular trail also passes through the Eichholz forest, where the small Ukleisee lake is located. It starts at a small parking area in Dersau and reaches the bathing area on the lakeshore shortly after the start.
Dersau also provides access to the approximately 150-kilometer-long Holstein Switzerland Nordic Fitness Park.
Water and Lake
The Dersau bathing area has a sandy beach, green sunbathing lawns, and a gently sloping bathing jetty. The Großer Plöner See is associated with sailing, rowing, and fishing; boat trips with passenger vessels are also available from Dersau.
